Knoxville’s Food Week had a productive start on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Pond Gap Elementary’s Edible Schoolyard, a community school garden. The kickoff today at CAC Beardsley Community Farm kept the momentum going with some great talks, proclamations from the city and county mayors, and some work on the farm.
We would like to thank all the wonderful volunteers who came out to participate in the first two days of Knoxville’s Food Week!
The Food Policy Council and other community partners will continue to celebrate all things food this week.
